Chattahoochee Tech Woodstock Campus

CLIENT: Chattahoochee Tech

Chattahoochee Technical College is comprised of eight campuses that serve a six-county area in beautiful North Georgia: Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding, Pickens. They offer outstanding education and training services as part of the Technical College System of Georgia’s mission of “providing technical, academic and adult education and training focused on building a well-educated, globally competitive workforce for Georgia.”

The Woodstock campus which sits on the former site of Woodstock Elementary School, underwent an 18 month renovation which was completed in 2016. The 46,011 gross square-foot building includes 13 classrooms, a library, Student Success Center, faculty offices, office space, restrooms and a plaza area. The goal of this renovation was to reclaim the beauty and history of the original building while updating the structure and furnishings making it a possitive contribution to the community.

The renovations included both computer and standard classrooms equiped with tables with pop up monitors and/or mobile tables for easy reconfiguration. Mobile and stackable seating was also in every classroom.

The offices space ties the industrial feel and look of the building together using the furniture, demountable wall with wood and glass, and barn doors. Every detail was thought of when chosing the products in this show piece project.

Colaboration areas were provided to not only provide the students with an area to study between classes but to also serve as a place in the community that non students can hang out after school. The community room offers multifunctional space which serves many needs for the town of Woodstock.
